Delivering sound advice for PR starters at podcast seminar

Contrary to popular opinion not every PR practioner loves the sound of their own voice, so Rhian was somewhat startled to hear her dulcet tones broadcast at a recent podcast seminar!

The seminar, organised by the Wessex branch of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), used interviews recorded at a 'Meet the Professionals' event for Solent University students to show how a podcast is put together. Looking to the future with a leave-behind leaflet

EuroGeographics, the umbrella association and official voice for the European National Mapping and Cadastral Agencies, has one vision - one Europe united through geographical information. Rhian provided the copy for a new corporate leaflet to promote the expertise of its members and explain the benefits the association offers to Europe's public services and private business. The challenge was to create engaging text using simple language to reach a high profile, well-educated audience, many of whom would not be native English speakers.
